Back Pain Exercises
Are Only One Part
Of The Healing Process...

› [Back Pain Exercises]

I would like to help you change the way you think about back pain exercises... so that you have an opportunity to rehabilitate your back, re-shape your body, your thinking, and your life…

Twenty years of chiropractic experience has taught me that people with back pain and injury have several complex issues to address...

  • physical...
  • emotional...
  • mental...

Issues in which there may be no quick or immediate answers for...

Organization is key to gaining control over your situation...

By gaining knowledge of the different kinds of back pains, you can assess what your needs are...

Having a  broad picture of what joint pain entails, will also help you when addressing a physician who may have limited time to assess and diagnose your problem ...

And if you want to get well…

Changing the way you think about your life, possibly your work, and your recreational activities is crucial...

What I have seen during my years of practice is that the people who do back pain exercises but then pigheadedly charge on, refusing to make any other changes to their routine fail to heal…

While those people who actively decide to change their lifestyle, aspects of their job, or the job itself, as well as recreational habits, not only succeed, but have improved their all around style of life and living...

What these people have done typically to provide themselves with this success is:

  • Have a working knowledge of their condition...
  • Allowing for the support of friends and family...(sometimes this means getting into a good, supportive Facebook group! Some of us may feel alone in the world, but it doesn't need to stay that way! )
  • A daily routine of healing including: Treatments, food that suits the blood type, socialization and support (again through social media or face to face) and a regimen of back pain exercises; all of this done daily...!

The Food You Eat
Is Of Critical Importance...

For information on food that supports your blood type, please check out:

  • "Eat Right For Your Type" by Dr. Peter D'Adamo. This set of books lists all foods in terms of three catagories - Highly Beneficial/ Neutral / Avoid according to each food listing and each blood type- O,A,B, and AB...
  • Information on several blood profiling tests are also included as your diet may change radically for example if you are a non-sequeter or a sequeter. This is a blood profile classification and a main difference between the two is if you are a sequeter, then your blood type can be detected from any bodily fluid, with a non-sequeter it is only the blood itself that will tell you the type! And it subtly changes which foods may be beneficial or avoid...
  • The right diet for you will increase your energy level, reduce inflammation and increase your feeling of well being; making your back pain exercises easier to do...

Back Pain Exercises
The Physical Issue...

Check out the link at the bottom of the paragraph for an update on exercises...

If you have never cared much for the physical discipline that back pain exercises demand, you should give it a chance because...

  • Your metabolic rate speeds up...
  • You get more oxygen into the lungs to be distributed throughout the blood stream...
  • With a higher oxygen ratio and metabolic rate comes a heightened fat burn...
  • Movement also facilitates flow of the cerebral spinal fluid which brings vital nutrients as well as oxygen to your spinal tissues...and this keeps them strong!

in short, appropriate movement will heal and protect your back…

and it will benefit the rest of your body...so if I may quote NIKE

'Just Do It!'...but make sure you do it correctly...

Check out this link for the latest in rehabilitation for  your back, it will help you correct what you may be doing presently and give you a better result...

Your Exercise Space
Is Important...

  • Do you feel safe in the space you are doing your back pain exercises? It is common to feel vulnerable and edgy if your back is in pain; so making space for yourself that feels safe is important…
  • Having said all of that...did you know there are many exercises you can do while still in bed? Most of us feel safe and peaceful in our own beds, so what better space could there be?
  • Is the room temperature comfortable? Too hot or too cold can increase joint pain…
  • For the socially inclined person...I recommend a gym. Gyms provide a supportive social atmosphere and you may find the possibility of interacting more closely to others inspiring. There should also be thick mats in an exercise area where you can do your exercises safely... look for these when you take a tour of the gym you are considering!

Day To Day Living-
The Emotional Issue…

Back pain will have a significant effect on your day to day life...

It comes down to so much more than just taking some medication, or receiving chiropractic adjustments and doing back pain exercises...

The people around you will need help understanding...so

You may be in a panic; asking yourself...

What do I tell my family…?

Stop Right There...

The first question you need to ask is:

What do I tell myself?

You will need to thoroughly understand:

  • What has happened to you...
  • What you need from friends and family...
  • What this situation will mean for the family...
  • How it will affect your job or career…

When you understand what has happened to you, you will know what you need...

Being able to ask for what you need can be daunting if you are not a person who is accustomed to doing such things...but, it is necessary that you do so, because...

The people in your life will deal with things better and more efficiently when they are asked to perform a particular task that they can do well...organize and delegate!

Do not wait and expect people to know what to do for you! They may not know even if they know you well...so...the key is in giving them certainty by educating yourself first...

Learning about what will give you back pain relief  will create a space for your physical recovery…

Knowing what you can do to stay as comfortable as possible will temper the mental issues...

Clear communication with others will relieve the emotional issues...
