Athletes Foot – How To
Get Rid Of It...

› [Athletes Foot]
This fungus likes to hide in small, moist folds of the skin...

Athletes foot is named aptly for it was most likely athletes, or those involved with heavy labour, that would have originally presented with it in our shoed western society...

Typically, we find the skin of the foot and toes, especially in the folds, cracked, irritated, flaky and in some cases bleeding and foot pain...

The cause of this condition is a fungus called Tinea...

Tinea is also known as roundworm, and yet it has nothing to do with worms; the worm identification came about from the fungal infection taking on a round appearance on the skin...

NOTE: I do my best to keep this site tame with regard to photos and illustrations, but in this case, I am really sorry, its just going to get ugly...

How To Get A Difficult To
Handle Case Of
Tinea...

This is a case where the fungus has gone ignored and spread in a short time period...

The best way to get Tinea Pedis or Athletes Foot is to avoid drying your sports shoes out with baking soda and fresh air...

Walking around in public locker rooms and pool areas with out wearing rubber sandals...

Public saunas, steam rooms and wet areas in general are often loaded with the stuff depending on how often and good the cleaning staff are...

Locker rooms are another great place to acquire vast amounts of the fungus...

Wearing shoes, underwear and shirts (that have come in contact with the fungus) that were not put into a boiling wash...

Towel drying after someone with the fungus such as your child, or partner...

All great ways to get covered in fungus...!

This Fungus Spreads
To Any Area
Of The Body...!

Spread all over torso, this could possibly have been avoided by following the sterile method...

The Fungus - Tinea- that drives Athletes Foot, is also highly adaptable and can become, for example, Tinea Capitis – fungus of the scalp where the fungus feeds on keratin in your hair (though no one refers to it as 'Athletes Head'...)

Tinea Cruris is also known as Jock Itch and Scrot Rot ...

Tinea Unguium refers to fungus in the nails...

Tinea Faciei refers to the same fungus, only now it is on your face...

Tinea Corporis refers to the condition having spread all over your body...

The fungus can get embedded into nails and skin and spread anywhere on yourself and onto others...

How Did You Get
Athletes Foot
To Spread To Your...
Ahummm...Everywhere...!

The ways that you might spread athletes foot to get under your nails, into your hair, your crotch and your face are many:

  • Shoes left damp from use (this is number one for Athletes Foot...)

  • Towels from the shower...

  • Socks that have been worn again...

  • Socks that have not been put through a boiling wash...

The fungus likes to replicate in warm, moist environments on and off your skin, so if you think about it, your washing habits can make a huge difference...

A few more ways to spread and maintain a bad case of Tinea are:

  • Underwear that has been worn again...

  • Underwear that has not been put through a boiling wash...

  • Bathtubs and shower stalls that have not been bleached after use...
  • Scratching an affected area and touching something or someone else...

  • Touch screens on all devices...!

This is a big one and few people think about the amount of bacteria and fungus that can live on those things...

I realize I am being a bit repetitive here; but when you look at the pictures I have posted, I think you will agree that it is for good reason...!

The fungus can feed off the Keratin in your hair...!

The Sterile Method Will
Be Helpful In Getting
Rid Of The Fungus...

I am just going to be frank with you and tell you that, if you have Tinea as Athletes foot or anywhere on your body, you are contagious...

This means you need to follow the 'sterile method' in the handling of things and in relation to others (especially children) until you can get this under control, and by that I mean eradicated...!

The sterile method is an extremely strict protocol and it will do you good to get into this way of thinking if you want to avoid spreading this fungus all over your self and others...

  • The first thing you want to have on hand two small bottles of hand santizer – one for your pocket, purse or man bag and one for the car...

Keep your hands sterilized is drying to the skin, so use a scentless gentle hand lotion too...

  • So, two small bottles of lotion in the car, purse, pocket, manbag...

The sterile method involves being methodically clean and using disposable items when necessary...

For example, in this day and age of cheap as chips Amazon shopping, you can get 12 pairs of cotton mens socks for a fiver (just looked them up – this is true)...

Guys, instead of doing all of the wash, get a couple of these, have 24 new pairs of socks on hand and throw them out as you wear them...

  • Do a boiling wash on all towels and sheets and clothing...!

You can also get a packet of 6 t-shirts, wear them once then dispose of them...

Sheets and towels are quite a bit more expensive, but if you have a bad case of Tinea and hate doing wash, it is worth your while to buy a surplus and change them up daily...

Sounds wasteful, yes, but it will pay in the long run to get rid of this fungus immediately...

Take days off work if you need to, it will be worth it in the end to get this fungus out of your life in the  shortest possible time period...

Take the anti-fungal drugs you get from your GP, throw out your socks, disinfect or get new shoes- and disinfect them, and you will be done with Athletes Foot in no time...

Sounds simple? It is, yet I have seen people really struggle with this for a prolonged period, ending up with it in their hair and on other parts of their body...

One Natural Remedy
That Can Really
Help...

There is a lot of talk about natural remedies to get rid of Athletes Foot and the fallout it causes..

Just my viewpoint, but for the most point I do not agree with them; save for one product called Allicin...

I say this because I had this fungus under my big toe nail and was adamant about natural remedies as allopathic meds can really be hard on the kidneys and the liver - two years later I took them because I wasn't getting anywhere; the fungus always came back until it had rooted itself in my toe...

So having said that, this was before I had discovered a product called Allicin (Allicin International).

The Allicin Gel will do a superb job on this fungus...

The only drawback is that you will smell like the best grade of garlic on the planet, as Allicin is the active ingredient in garlic that makes it an anti-fungal; and it is also the smelly component...!

But, it is the one proven and good alternative if you do not wish to do the path of drugs...

The gel applied to the affected area three times a day usually takes care of most things bacterial or fungal...

It even penetrates thick calloused skin...

In Summary...

By adopting the sterile method and taking your meds, or getting some Allicin and using it three times a day on the affected area, and perhaps taking an oral dosage as well, you can get rid of Athletes Foot and prevent it from spreading to other parts of your body as well as other people...

Fungus from something as small as a bit of athletes foot can get imbedded into your skin so deeply that it will end up mimicking joint pain...

So if you see signs of fungus, please take care of it right away to avoid bigger, uglier problems...!!!
